Unit 1: Defining Concepts in Research - Quiz
By Adriana Bernaldez
This entry represents an initial stage of my learning process during the course, focusing on the development of my understanding of key research concepts. Completing this formative activity allowed me to review the theoretical foundations introduced in Unit 1 and assess my ability to apply them to my research project.
As shown in Figure 1, this evidence corresponds to a self-assessment quiz completed through the virtual campus. The activity focused on essential aspects of research, such as defining concepts, identifying research problems, and understanding the role of theoretical perspectives in academic inquiry. My score of 10/10 reflected my comprehension of the introductory materials and confirmed the importance of building a strong conceptual foundation before moving into the later steps of research design.
The quiz was valuable because it encouraged me to monitor my own learning and recognize areas that required further exploration. It also contributed to my development towards analyzing educational issues through a more systematic research perspective.
